Piano Recital

So Saturday started off to be a sad day as I had to attend a memorial service for a member of my church. He had been ill, but no one was expecting to lose him this suddenly. The service was very nice. After the service though I got to go over to Emily's 1st piano recital. She did excellent, and if you want to see pictures of it, check out the album I have created and posted with the rest of my albums. All the kids did a very good job at the recital.

Well I know this is a short post, but not much happened this weekend. Hope everyone has a great week!

2 New Links

Check out 2 new links I have posted for some of my friends new blogs. One is my friend Steve's new blog. This is his first adventure into the world of Blogging. He has come up with a great name for it too . . . drum role please . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Steve's Blog! Very catchy eh? LOL I'm just giving you a hard time Steve. Not that mine is all that creative either. The other link is for my friend Rebecca. She has started a 2nd blog. Some of you may have visited her standard blog known as La Vie En Rose that I have a link to, well now she has a Poem blog as well to post her own original works, and they are awesome, so please check it out as well.

As for me, I have nothing new or exciting to report. Oh wait! I do have one thing, I am now in the Michiana Concert Band, so that is cool. I have my first rehearsal tonight. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully I can get the music learned quickly since their concert season is starting this month.

Well everyone have a good week!!

Blue Tongued Skink

So I'm having way too much fun with my rats and my Bearded Dragon. Now at the Expo that my friends and I went to when I got my Bearded Dragon, we saw this lizard there called a Blue Tongued Skink. It was way cool looking. Now I've been trying to read what I can about them on the internet, and thinking that if I were to get a 2nd lizard that is what I want. The question is, where do I put it? LOL Hmmmmm . . I wonder if I could fit another tank up by Trogdor's? Apparently they are really easy to keep just like Bearded Dragons and can be very mellow and well socialized. They are supposed to also be good "starter" lizards and good for family reptile pets. They do get bigger then Bearded Dragons though. However still not as ginormous as an Iguana which I had previously always had a fascination with that I still think are cool, but am starting to get away from after discovering all these other cool things! LOL I think Steve and I may go up to another big expo that is in Michigan next Saturday the 13th. It works out well since I have that Saturday off. It's a lot of fun just looking around and seeing everything there is and what people have, and talking to experts and breeders. Steve and I keep talking about how cool it would be to have our own pet shop. We would specialize in fish and exotics like reptiles and stuff, but still handle some of the small animal stuff and supplies I think for all animals. Unfortunately we just don't have the finances. :o( How cool it would be though. Steve is very knowledgeable in fish since he used to work in pet shops as a specialist in that area. I could take care of the other exotics and small animals. :o)
Well that is all I guess. Hope everyone has a good weekend while I'm working!
