I'm Back!

So I had a great trip out to Montana. It was nice and relaxing, and great to see friends and people from church. My friend Laurie had to work pretty much the whole week, but she works in the morning and is usually done around noon, so that still gave us plenty of time to do things. Kevin from Billings came out one day and we all went down to the Yellowstone River and went swimming. At first Laurie and I hiked along the bank kinda part way in the water and on the rocks, but then a snake popped up out of the water from under a rock right when I was about to step there, so that was enough of the hiking bit. We went to the boat launch area where there is just sand, and swam there. Kevin spent most of the time looking for rocks. Laurie and I helped with that a bit. Laurie and I also had a chance to go camping up in the Crazy Mountains. Unfortunately we couldn't build a campfire due to a fire restriction since there were 2 fires in the area since it's so dry out there right now. We still had a lot of fun, and went for a hike up to the waterfall. Unfortunately the week came to an end, and I had to leave. It was a long drive out to Montana, and an even longer drive back. Of course I did have to have one glitch during the trip, and that was that on my way home, I blew a tire. That was fun. Especially since I was on the highway, and so when I pulled over to the side of the road to get the spare on, I had to unpack my entire trunk to get to the spare. So there I am on the side of the road with all my stuff out on the ground next to the car, and me laying on the ground trying to change the tire. I got it done though, loaded everything back up, and drove to the next town to get a new tire put on. I was still in South Dakota at the time, so there was a lot of driving to be done still that could not be done on a spare. So that was in a nut-shell my trip. I did take some pictures, and once I have them done they will be in the Montana album.

So now it's been back to work, but I also started classes at IUSB (Indiana University South Bend) on Monday. I have Japanese on Monday and Wednesdays and History of the Civil War on Thursday evenings. My Japanese teacher is hysterical and a lot of fun. I'm really going to enjoy that class. I haven't had my history class yet, but the first class is tomorrow, so I'll let you know what that one is like later.

Well hope everyone was doing well while I was gone, and enjoy the rest of your week!

Vacation Time!!!

So I'm getting ready to leave this weekend for a week to Montana. I know, I know, I've already mentioned this a few times now, but now that it is getting closer to leaving time it's so much more exciting! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to leave tomorrow night, and get a few hours of driving under my belt, or if I will just leave at the butt crack of dawn on Saturday morning. I'm having a new stereo put in my car tomorrow after work to replace the one that was stolen a couple of months back, and it will just depend upon how quickly that all gets completed. I mean, I certainly can not drive for 2 days out to Montana with absolutely no music, so the stereo is definately a priority.

Anyways with my vacation, I may not post anything for a while. I will have my laptop with me, but it will depend upon if I have the time. Otherwise I will just talk to you all when I return, and don't worry, I will definately have pictures!!! :o) Laters!

Cluster Map

So, I have always seen this cool map on Becca's blog, and finally decided to look into putting one on my blog. It's way cool, because every time somone comes to my site, it tracks where they are from, and puts a dot on my map. The bigger the dot, then the more people from that area have visited. It tracks visits from all over the world. I just thought it was cool because then I can get an idea of where everyone visits this site from. I added it today, but it won't start tracking until tomorrow. Anyways it's prett cool, so check it out! Thats all I really have to report today. I'm stuck at work, and it's slow, so I'm bored. Oh well! Laters!

Kicking Butt

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am totally kicking butt in sales this pay period. I have sold over $100,000 worth of product in the last week and a half. I'm leading the entire call center in sales by a lot! LOL It's great. This will be the best paycheck I've had in the 5 years that I've worked here. It's very exciting!

On another note, I'm getting excited because on the 19th of this month I am leaving for Montana for a week. I'm going to go get the rest of my stuff that is still out there and see friends. I think I may have already mentioned this, but for those of you who have not picked up on my excitement, I am repeating myself for you. :o)

For those of you in my neighborhood, I have a concert for Michiana Concert Band on this coming Monday the 14th at Battell Park at 7:00p.m. We also have a concert on Sunday the 20th at Potowatami Park at 7:00p.m., however I will not be performing in that concert since I will be out of town in Montana. I'm quite bummed too because we are playing a lot of the music I wanted to play for that concert, but we have yet another concert the first week of September at Art Beat down town in front of the Morris, and I think we will be playing some of the music that I will miss out on.

The weekend is coming soon, and I do have to work. Thats okay, though cause it will mean more money in my pocket. Hope everyone else has an enjoyable rest of the week and a good weekend. Later!

Another Week Over . . . Sort Of

Well Technically it's another work week come to end, however I am currently at work and it's Saturday. At least I can enjoy a day off tomorrow. I'm very excited though because I think I am going to be going on vacation here in a couple of weeks. I'm going to head out to Montana for a week to see my friends, and then to get the rest of things that are still out there. That includes all my DVD's Laurie!!!! LOL Guess you better watch as many as you can before then! LOL So yes, all my DVD's are still out there, my desktop computer (hasn't been curcial since I have my laptop), my art supplies, and some of my books. It's going to be fun though. Plus I get to drive my new car on a road trip for the first time!! :o) That in itself will be fun because I love to drive, and since I will get to be in my nice new car it will make it even more exciting.

So thats really all the exciting news I have to report. Sales is going really well this pay period so far, which is nice because it should make for an awesome paycheck right before I go on vacation. The bonus is that it's a 3 paycheck month, so I'll have another check when I get back! Woohoo! Well I hope everyone has a nice weekend. Stay cool!!
